Second Guess is a New Westminster, BC-based rock band that truly started in January 2002. Under the moniker Exit 104 the band recorded two albums, played shows at many of Vancouvers premier live music venues and had a tremendous amount of fun. During the summer of 2003 the band broke up musically, but remained a close-knit group of friends.

The members took their time apart to experiment with music, life and growing up. Eventually they came to the conclusion that their journey together in music was not over. Their musical influences and styles were now on the same page, if not the same paragraph. Their goals were now clearly defined and there was more enthusiasm, optimism and energy between them than ever before.
In September 2005 they got back together and reunited musically to do what they do best: write amazing music, produce enduring songs and work together towards a common goal.
Their self-titled demo album from 2006 found success on the independant radio stations across Canada, even charting in the top 20 in Kelowna, BC. The songs displayed their musical talents, haunting melodies and songwriting abilities. It also won the hearts of fans, allowed the band to play at venues all over Vancouver and the Lower Mainland and landed the band a spot in the national library of music. The album was considered an all around success for the band, but with the addition of their new guitar player just a few months after the completion of the album, the band was eager to get back to writing new music.
With a whole new writing process, the songs emerging from the band were on a new level. The band found a new love for an upbeat and pop/rock sound. The songs allowed the band to display their true personality as a band. They spent many months playing and tweaking the songs until they were ready to get back in the studio in August 2007 to record.
The newest, full length album, Lovesick Colour, is being touted as their best yet. The album has the band back working with Dan Swinimer (Beyond The Fall, Superbeing & Jet Black Stare) from Manicdown Productions to bring to life seven new original songs, as well as a radio edit version of their third single, "Dance With Me".
The band members come across as an interesting group: a healthy mix of talent and creativity (not to mention tomfoolery, hyperactivity and friendship). The group has met by chance in a bar, through work and through high school. Regardless of the circumstances or the formation of the group, they have grown into a symbiotic cluster of people who feed off each others moods and ideas.
Lightheartedness, understanding and determination have always been the glue that holds them together.
